These terms are an agreement between you and SESYSY LIMITED (company no. 15828843), trading as JobEng. By creating an account or using JobEng you accept them. If you use JobEng for a business, you accept them for that business and confirm you may do so.
1. Accounts
You must be 16 or over and give accurate details.
Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
A business account owner decides who in the business has access and what each role can do.
Tell us at info@sesysy.com if you think someone else has used your account.
2. Plans, payment and cancellation
Some features need a paid plan. Prices are shown in the app, in pounds sterling, before you pay.
Plans renew automatically each month or year, as chosen, until cancelled. Cancel any time; the plan stays active to the end of the period already paid.
New business accounts may get a free trial of one month; we will remind you before it ends.
Consumers buying in the UK can cancel within 14 days of purchase for a refund, minus any part of the service already used. App Store and Google Play purchases follow those stores' refund rules.
If a payment fails we may pause paid features until it is settled. We give at least 30 days' notice of price changes.
3. Acceptable use
You must not:
post false, misleading or discriminatory job adverts, or adverts for jobs that do not exist;
charge job seekers fees to apply or be considered for work;
upload anything unlawful, infringing, abusive or containing malware;
collect other users' data in bulk, scrape, or contact people for purposes they did not agree to;
try to get into other accounts or companies' data, test our security without written permission, or overload the service;
use JobEng to break employment, equality, data protection or right-to-work law.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload: CVs, documents, photos, job adverts, website text. You give us a licence to store, process and display it only to run JobEng for you, including showing your public pages, job adverts and company website. Business customers' data is handled under the Data Processing Agreement.
5. Employers' responsibilities
Employers using JobEng are responsible for their own hiring decisions and for complying with employment, equality, right-to-work and data protection law, including telling applicants how their data is used and answering their requests. JobEng is a software platform; we are not an employment agency or employment business and do not supply workers.
6. AI features
AI output (scores, summaries, adverts, website text, documents) can be wrong. Check it before you rely on it or publish it.
AI scores are suggestions; a person must make any hiring decision.
Do not use AI features to make decisions about people based solely on automated processing.
7. Company websites, job pages and enquiries
Business customers can publish a website at jobeng.ai/c/[name] or [name].jobeng.ai and public job pages. You are responsible for their content and must have the rights to the text and pictures you publish. We may remove content that breaks these terms. Addresses ending in jobeng.ai remain ours; we may change or withdraw an address for a good reason and will give notice where we can.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep JobEng available and secure but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features; if a change significantly reduces a paid feature, you may cancel and get a pro-rata refund.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
For business customers, we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, or indirect loss; our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
For consumers, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill; your statutory rights are not affected.
10. Suspension and ending
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or if the law requires it, and will explain why unless the law prevents it. On closure, business customers can export their data for 30 days; after that it is deleted under the Data Processing Agreement.
11. Trade marks
JOBENG and the JobEng logo are trade marks of SESYSY LIMITED. You may not use them without permission.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts. Consumers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring claims in their local courts. Contact us first at info@sesysy.com; we aim to resolve complaints within 14 days.
